Company Profile

Michael Blackwell is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in Accounting and Psychology.  Mr. Blackwell worked in banking for several years as a loan officer, commercial loan officer, and assistant manager, before he was displaced through corporate down sizing.  Helping friends, family, his church, and community, he began contributing his painting services at no cost.  With a substantial background in business and lifelong knowledge in the trade, on February 2001, a painting company was birthed which developed into MJB Professional Painting, LLC.

The transition to and establishing of MJB Professional Painting, LLC was a natural progression.  Mr. Blackwell represents three generations of painters and home remodelers.  He worked as a youth with his father and grandfather after school and on weekends.  After 15 years of freelancing, he decided through the urging and support of family and friends to pursue this work professionally.  Striving always for excellence in all his endeavors, Mr. Blackwell trained under Dave Pascarella of Pascarella Painting and Chester Brown of Chet Paintings & Sign Graphics for three years perfecting his painting skills.  Both of these professionals are Godly men, holding respectable positions in their churches and community.

Through God’s guidance, the mentorship of these men along with his pastor Bishop Norman L. Wagner, Michael Blackwell stands with great character and commitment to deliver superior workmanship with true professionalism.  MJB Professional Painting, LLC has emerged from a small company to a  progressive company whose gross profits has more than tripled in the last eight years by Adding Quality One Coat at a Time.
